In2C - Online meeting with DG HOME Officials

An online zoom meeting was successfully held on Thursday, the 4th of March 2021, 14:00 CET between the In2C project partners and DG HOME European Commission Officers.

The teleconference, that could be described as a type of monitoring meeting, gave the opportunity to the In2C partners to introduce themselves and briefly talk about their role in the project. The same applied for the EC Officers. After the coordinator, Nikos Papageorgiou, addressed his welcoming greeting, Yannis Tolias, on behalf of TCG-CWT, made a brief project status update and pointed out the achievements per work package, while Vaso Anastassopoulou, representing DIMITRA introduced the In2C tools already developed and the blueprint for the Employer-TCN matching platform.

From the EC side Anna Sobczak, Head of Unit, Stephanie Carillon, Head of Unit, Fatima Velez, Project Coordinator, Edina Reitinger, In2C Project Officer, Agnese Papadia, Policy Unit, Laurence Wathy, Financial Initiator of the project, participated to the teleconference.

On behalf of In2C the participants were: Nikos Papageorgiou, Coordinator (TCG-CWT), Yannis Tolias and Nikos Pappas, Management Support Team Members (TCG-CWT), George Petrou, MST member and WP5&WP6 Leader (DIMITRA) Vasso Anastassopoulou (DIMITRA), Lia Gkountroumpi, MST member (DIMOS LARISEON), Javier Farto, MST member and WP2 Leader (DOCUMENTA), Belén Blanco, MST member and WP7 Leader (FLC),  Ali Rashidi, MST member and WP3 Leader (FU-UPPSALA), Maria Nyberg (FU-UPPSALA), Christiana Knais, MST member (MMC), Yiannos Poumpouris, MST member and OSEOK director (OSEOK).

European officials praised the project partners for its successful implementation and management. They encouraged the consortium to find dissemination channels, continue raising awareness about the project and communicate any difficulties to the EC. They expressed their satisfaction for the results and their optimism for the best possible completion of In2C.
