During the last weeks, DOCUMENTA developed three Focus Groups with professionals from different entities, who evaluated the training materials that will be used in the following phases of the In2C project "Integration of Third Country Nationals in the Construction Sector".
The Focus Groups were composed of professionals who work in Local Development Agencies of various municipalities of Cantabria, of the Workshop Schools, personnel of organizations such as the Red Cross or La Columbeta and by possible beneficiaries of the project, among others.
The participants valued positively the materials and verified their suitability from different points of view. They also offered very valuable opinions that will help to improve and offer a training package appropriate to the characteristics of the participants.
The materials to be evaluated referred to the areas of Labor Legislation and Health and Safety at Work, as well as a Terminological Glossary and a Technical Vocabulary based on images.
In the coming months, the In2C project will carry out this training for 100 TCNs residing in Spain interested in integrating in the Construction Sector as a contribution to the project's objective of providing a set of innovative tools and materials crucial for the integration of TCNs in the labor market, improving not only the language skills of the TCNs and their knowledge of the issues related to the job, but also the relationship between the TCNs and employers.
